EVERY THURSDAY 3 p.m. to 8 p.m (by appointment)BOTOX® is a purified protein derived from the bacterium Botulinum. Using a tiny micro-needle, a small amount of BOTOX® is injected, very precisely into several locations. Typically the vertical lines between the eyebrows, forehead lines, and the corners of the eyes. BOTOX® has been safely used for over ten years for ophthalmologic and neurological disorders, and was approved for cosmetic use in 2004. SOMABEL Spa purchases BOTOX® directly from Allergan, the only FDA approved source in the U.S. Dr. Vela recommends the first three treatments be spaced at 12-week intervals, and the following two treatments at 16-week intervals. Typically, patients who follow this schedule require less BOTOX® and they increase the time between treatments.

Restylane® Dermal Filler - Restylane® is a clear, stabilized hyaluronic acid used in the correction of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. A natural substance, free from animal proteins, that already exists in the human body, it is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin. Multiple injections of Restylane® are applied under the skin using a very fine needle. Most common areas treated are the nasolabial folds, facial wrinkles, Marionnette lines, and lips. Topical anesthetic for folds and wrinkles and injectable anesthetic for the lips may be applied prior to the treatment to minimize discomfort. After the first treatment, additional treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired level of correction. Results will last from six to nine months, once the desired correction is achieved. Restylane® is dispensed by the syringe (1cc and .4cc)
